The active ingredients in our Calming Cookies® are the amino acids L-Tyrosine and L-Arginine which play important roles in managing anxiety, attention and mood, helping your horse to stay calm and confident.
L-Arginine is necessary for the production of Nitric Oxide in the body. This is required for many bodily functions, including learning and memory.
L-Tyrosine is a precursor for the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline, which also play an important role in memory, behaviour, attention and mood.
