Shipping Charges

Our shipping charges are calculated automatically at the Cart stage based on the delivery method selected, parcel weight, and destination.

We work closely with our courier partners to keep delivery costs as fair and competitive as possible. Shipping charges reflect the actual cost of delivery and handling.

Delivery Partners

We primarily use Royal Mail Tracked and DPD, however depending on parcel size, weight, or destination, orders may be shipped using an alternative courier.

Order Cut-Off Times

• Orders placed before 12:30pm (Monday–Friday) will be processed and dispatched the same working day.

• Orders placed after 12:30pm may be dispatched the following working day.

• Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Important – Next Day Delivery & Weekends

• Orders placed for next day delivery after 12:00pm on Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday, will be dispatched on Monday.

• Orders placed before 12:00pm on Friday for next day delivery will be dispatched Friday but may not arrive until Monday.

Scottish Highlands & Islands

Unfortunately, Next Day Delivery is not available to the following areas:

• Scottish Highlands & Islands

• Isle of Man

• Channel Islands

• International destinations

These orders will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked services (not guaranteed next-day).

IMPORTANT – Highlands & Islands Shipping Rates

Customers living in the above postcode areas must select a Scottish Highlands & Islands shipping rate at checkout.

If the incorrect shipping option is selected:

• Dispatch may be delayed, and

• We will contact you to request payment of the additional shipping cost before dispatch.

Free Delivery – Highlands & Islands

• Orders over £54.95 qualify for free delivery only if the parcel weight is under 2kg.

• Orders exceeding 2kg will incur a delivery charge, even if the order value exceeds £54.95.

Free UK Delivery

Free standard UK delivery is available on orders over £54.95.
This is applied automatically at checkout where eligible.

Delivery Responsibility & Safe Places

If you request delivery to a safe place or neighbour, this is done entirely at your own risk.

Winston & Porter cannot accept responsibility for parcels that are lost, stolen, or damaged after being left in a location specified by the customer.

Please clearly state any delivery instructions at checkout in the “Add Notes to Seller” section (e.g. “With neighbour”, “In shed”).

Delays & Courier Issues

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is the responsibility of the courier.
While we will always assist in resolving delivery issues, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by courier services, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

International Shipping

Customers are responsible for ensuring that items ordered comply with their country’s import regulations.

• Customs fees, duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

• If customs reject or return an item, original shipping charges are non-refundable.

• Returned international orders may be refunded for the product cost only, excluding shipping, or re-shipped at additional cost.
