2027 Calendar Stars: Competition Terms

These terms apply to the Winston & Porter 2027 Calendar Stars competition. By entering, you agree to them.

  1. Promoter. Winston and Porter Ltd, Unit 5 Omega Industrial Estate, Thurston Road, Northallerton DL6 2NL. Company number 08265542.
  2. Who can enter. UK residents aged 18 or over who have received an invitation email from the Promoter. Employees of the Promoter and their families can't enter.
  3. Free entry. Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.
  4. How to enter. Reply to the invitation email with one photo of your dog or horse, their name and age, your town, and their story in up to 100 words. One entry per customer.
  5. Closing date. Entries must be received by 23:59 GMT on Friday 20 November 2026. Late entries won't be accepted.
  6. Your photo. You must have taken the photo yourself or have the owner's permission to use it. Please don't include other people unless they're happy to appear.
  7. How winners are chosen. The Promoter will judge all entries on photo quality and story, and choose a shortlist of 9. The shortlist will be posted on the Promoter's Facebook and Instagram pages from Monday 23 November 2026 until 23:59 GMT on Friday 27 November 2026. The 3 entries with the highest combined number of likes across both posts will win. The Promoter may disqualify any entry that appears to use paid or automated likes.
  8. Prizes. Each of the 3 winners will receive: their pet featured as the star of one month in the Winston & Porter 2027 calendar; a framed print of their calendar page; and [a free tub of their usual supplement]. There is no cash alternative. The Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
  9. Winners. Winners will be contacted by email by Monday 30 November 2026 and must reply within 7 days. If a winner doesn't reply, the prize will pass to the shortlisted entry with the next-highest number of likes.
  10. Use of your entry. By entering, you give the Promoter permission, free of charge, to use your photo, your pet's name, your story, your first name and your town in the calendar, on its website and social media, and in its promotional materials and press releases.
  11. Your data. We'll use your details only to run this competition and in line with our privacy policy: [privacy policy link].
  12. Facebook and Instagram. This competition isn't sponsored, endorsed or run by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram (Meta).
  13. General. The Promoter's decision is final. The Promoter may change or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
